Brady Bunch house to open to public for three days

For the first time ever, fans of the iconic 1970s sitcom “The Brady Bunch” will have the opportunity to explore the show’s famed Studio City home. A limited three-day event, organized by pop culture historian Alison Martino and her Vintage Los Angeles, will grant access to this legendary residence from November 7th to 9th.

Martino, in a Facebook announcement, promises an immersive experience, guiding attendees through every room of the meticulously recreated home. Tickets, priced at $275 each, sold out quickly.

While the exterior of the 1959-built home was featured in the show, the interiors shown on screen were actually sets at Paramount Studios. Years after the show concluded in 1974, the house underwent a significant transformation. HGTV acquired the property in 2018, investing $3.5 million in a renovation to replicate the show’s iconic sets, even adding a second floor to accommodate additional rooms. This renovation was documented in “A Very Brady Renovation,” featuring the original Brady kids.

Following the renovation, HGTV sold the house in 2023. Now, the home, boasting even more remarkable vintage decor, is open for this exclusive event. Martino assures that no detail will be off-limits, promising an intimate exploration of the house. All proceeds from this unique experience will benefit animal rescue organization Wags and Walks, a cause Martino believes the Brady family dog, Tiger, would wholeheartedly approve of.
